Since Opening its doors in 1964, The Indianapolis Zoo has hosted Millions of visitors and taught kids and adults alike valuable information about animals and their habitats as well as conservation.

The Zoo is home to hundreds of Animals and several hands on exhibits so we want to take you on a fieldtrip to experiences animals and activities that we can’t get inside Studio Six!

Today in the Zone we will be speaking with Maura Giles, Public Relations Specialist for the Indianapolis Zoo to find out what there is for families to do and see at the Zoo. We will also be catching up with Emily behind the scenes at the Walrus exhibit as she learns about the 3,000 lb. animals and what it takes to care for them.
