Students at Clear Creek Elementary wanted to make sure that their school was safe and fun, so they volunteered for Project Peace.
These students trained to become mediators. Mediators know how to help other kids resolve their problems calmly. At recess, they wear hats so the other students know where they are if they need help.
The volunteers help others to work out conflicts by talking instead of fighting.
