This spring, Sarah and Alee worked to make their community more beautiful. They spent an afternoon cleaning plots at the Willie Streeter Community Garden.
This is a place where people who don’t have yards can go to grow fruit, vegetables, and flowers. The girls used mulch to repair paths that had been washed away by a storm.
The gardeners can use these paths instead of stepping on plants, and the garden will stay nice.
