To celebrate National Family Day, kids and their families volunteered to help the animal shelter. They decorated boxes that were put inside grocery stores for people to donate cat and dog food.
Some kids worked on a mural to hang in the cat adoption center. Others made catnip toys and dog biscuits.
It was a great way to help out the animals we love so much.
