From featuring students demonstrating the circus arts on the flying trapeze to showcasing the extraordinary talent of several musicians earlier this season, you can safely say that we LOVE highlighting the performing arts on The Friday Zone!

But did you know that theater is actually a branch of the performing arts, too?

Since that’s the case, Katie thought it was HIGH TIME that we showcase a little bit of theater!

Have you ever been to a play before? Chances are that if you have, your attention was undoubtedly focused on the actors and actresses performing on the stage - after all, these are the folks shining in the spotlight!

But did you know that a play’s cast of actors and actresses can’t do its job without the help and support of many other individuals including playwrights and members of the production crew?

Join us as we take a behind-the-scenes look at what play production actually entails at the Bloomington Playwrights Project.
