Digging for Dinosaurs

During this episode of The Friday Zone, we’re traveling back in time to learn about some giants that once roamed the earth – dinosaurs!

You are invited to join us on a Friday Zone Field Trip to the Dinosphere Exhibit at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis where we will venture “Beyond the Paleo Lab Window” with the museum’s resident paleontologist Mr. Victor Porter.

Former host Holly Gregory and a young guest from WonderLab will also explore the height of dinosaurs in our Friday Zone Flashback.

Although dinosaur fossils can’t be found in Indiana, lots of other fossils can be found in the limestone of our region. Several graduate students from Indiana University’s Geology Department will take you on a fossil hunt of your very own.
