On The Friday Zone

Under The Sea

April 10, 2009

The state of Indiana might be mostly landlocked (except for a TINY bit of our state that touches Lake Michigan), but that doesn’t mean we have to stay on dry land!

You are invited to join Katie as she frolics in saltwater at the Indianapolis Zoo with Kimo and Nova, two very special bottlenose dolphins.

You also won’t want to miss Katie’s first SCUBA lesson on camera with the experts at Southern Indiana SCUBA. You will be amazed at how divers can breathe underwater using a regulator, an air tank, and some other fancy gear!

Former host Holly Gregory will demonstrate three different eating methods used by whales as they gulp krill, their tiny prey. How can something so big survive by eating something so little? You will find out during our trip under the sea during this episode of The Friday Zone!
