If you’re a regular watcher of the show, you know that we include elements of science all the time. We’ve explored everything from the science of chocolate with WonderLab’s help to space exploration at the Challenger Learning Center in Brownsburg, Indiana. During this episode, we’re going to explore the science of physics.
Physics covers a wide range of phenomena, from the smallest particles to the largest galaxies. Physicists try to describe the various things that occur in nature. They seek to find the ultimate reason for why nature is as it is.
Each year, the Departments of Physics and Astronomy at Indiana University welcome kids and families to their annual Open House event which features a wide range of experiences including indoor and outdoor hands-on science activities. Not only will we check out the Physics and Atronomy Open House during a Friday Zone Field Trip, three physics experts will be bringing their experiments to The Zone.
