Have you ever wondered how Thanksgiving started? This week, Echo and two Friday Zone kids, Fuad and Allie, will explore the holiday with the help of some very special guests. We’ll hear about the First Thanksgiving from a Pilgrim and Native American. We’ve invited President Abraham Lincoln to talk about making Thanksgiving a holiday, and we’ll find out some interesting information about turkeys from someone who knows all about them.
Also this week, we’ll discuss the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and explore even more Thanksgiving Day activities and traditions. We’ll end the show with a challenge for you to come up with a new Thanksgiving tradition for you and your family.
Be sure to tune in to The Friday Zone to learn all about this great holiday and check out these other great sources for Thanksgiving info! You’ll be thankful that you did.
