Three-Berry Puff Pastry Tart

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry (for 10 inch pan)
  • 1/3 pint of blueberries
  • 1/3 pint of blackberries
  • 1/3 pint of strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup of raspberry preserves

Directions

First bake the pastry. You can buy puff pastry in any grocery store.

  1. Put one sheet in a pie pan.
  2. Bake for 12 minutes at 375°F.

Next melt the butter and brown sugar.

  1. Combine 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar.
  2. Microwave on low for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir and microwave again if the butter isn’t totally melted.

Next add the preserves to the pastry.

Then pour all of the berries (blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries) into the pastry.

Now you will add cream cheese by dropping spoonfuls over the berries.

Now take your microwaved brown sugar and butter mixture and pour it on top of the berries.

The next thing you will need to make is the top layer of the pastry.

  1. With a second sheet of the uncooked puff pastry cut 5 1/2 inch strips.
  2. Now criss-cross them on top to make a lattice.

Lastly, bake the whole pastry in the oven for 20 minutes.

Enjoy!
