Ten Steps to Understanding College Life

From the Friday Zone Challengers

  1. You have to go to the Admissions Office to see if your grades are good enough to get in to college.
  2. All of your classes aren’t in the same room. For each class you have to change to a different room or building, or you may even have to go across campus for another class.
  3. If you want to be a doctor you have to take four years of math in college.
  4. There are lots of options for where you live when you’re in college, like dorms, a sorority house, an apartment, or with your family (if you go to college in your home town).
  5. Class maybe boring, but don’t fall asleep. Take good notes.
  6. You have to wake up early because you might have early classes.
  7. Be organized so you go to the right class at the right time.
  8. You can’t write your essays with a pen or pencil. You have to type them.
  9. If your home town is far from your college, like in a different state, you will miss your family.
  10. You have to have good walking shoes.
