Ten Steps to Understanding College Life
From the Friday Zone Challengers
- You have to go to the Admissions Office to see if your grades are good enough to get in to college.
- All of your classes aren’t in the same room. For each class you have to change to a different room or building, or you may even have to go across campus for another class.
- If you want to be a doctor you have to take four years of math in college.
- There are lots of options for where you live when you’re in college, like dorms, a sorority house, an apartment, or with your family (if you go to college in your home town).
- Class maybe boring, but don’t fall asleep. Take good notes.
- You have to wake up early because you might have early classes.
- Be organized so you go to the right class at the right time.
- You can’t write your essays with a pen or pencil. You have to type them.
- If your home town is far from your college, like in a different state, you will miss your family.
- You have to have good walking shoes.
