Holly Cookies

These cookies look like little sprigs of a holly tree!

Put 40 marshmallows into a bowl.

Add 3/4 of a stick of butter.

Microwave the marshmallows and butter together until melted.

Be careful taking the bowl out of the microwave—it’ll be hot and you’ll need an adult to help!

Add 1 tsp. of vanilla to the marshmallow mixture.

Add green food coloring (at least 1 tsp., but you can add more to make it darker green).

Stir the food coloring, marshmallows, butter, and vanilla until you have a smooth green slime.

Add 4 cups of corn flakes and stir until coated.

Plop the green corn flake mixture onto wax paper. Shape however you like and add red hots to look like holly berries. Let the cookies set—putting them in the refrigerator helps speed this up.
