Formal Tea Party

A formal tea party is something different to do right in your own backyard! Get out and try it!

Plan Ahead

  • Decide on a date and time (settle on a rain date)
  • Decide on a theme (what should everyone wear?)
  • Create a guest list
  • Create the menu
  • Make invitations
  • Create a supply list (i.e., cups, plates, napkins, flowers, etc.)
  • Make an Agenda (activities that will take place during the party)

On the Day of the Formal Tea Party

  • Decorate the table (options: tablecloth, flower, name cards)
  • Write out the menu
  • Follow the agenda
  • Include an activity where guests can decorate their placemats
  • Remember to have fun!
