Chocolate Cream Strawberries for Mom

Recipe provided by the Bloomington Cooking School

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pound strawberries

Leaving stems on, rinse strawberries in cool water.

With paper towels, carefully pat dry strawberries so no moisture is evident.

Place cream in pan; add chocolate chips.

Place pan over low heat and stir mixture with wooden spoon till smooth.

Pick strawberry up by stem and dip in chocolate.

Place on plate and let dry 15 minutes.

Chocolate will harden slightly.
